POSICIÓN 1 - GERENTE DE COMPRAS: reportará al Gerente Comercial, y será responsable por gerenciar una categoría específica, con responsabilidad por el P&L, incluyendo la relación y el desarrollo de proveedores y productos, las negociaciones y la compra efectiva de la mercadería, el marketing para la promoción de estos productos y la venta gerenciada por categoría de productos.
POSICIÓN 2 - GERENTE DE OPERACIONES: reportará al Gerente Senior de Operaciones. Tendrá como principal responsabilidad el resultado financiero, operativo y desarrollo de los recursos humanos del store asignado. Es responsable por un presupuesto anual de ventas de retail de más $15 millones, y de más de $7 millones en Productos Financieros. Deberá gerenciar un equipo de 10 Líderes de Negocios / productos y 60 asociados.
EL EJECUTIVO PARA AMBAS POSICIONES:
El candidato debe tener cursado un MBA en una renombrada universidad internacional, haber regresado al país y posteriormente haber actuado durante tres o cuatro años en empresa de importancia.
Es necesario que el ejecutivo seleccionado posea excelente capacidad de negociación, comunicación interpersonal y cualidades de liderazgo y organización, capacidad de imponerse por su conocimiento, habilidad comprobada para trabajar en equipos. El candidato deberá tener un alto potencial y estar preparado para en un corto a mediano tiempo estar ocupando otras posiciones dentro del Grupo.
El ejecutivo preferentemente deberá tener alguna experiencia en retail, no obstante ejecutivos de alto potencial que hayan regresado a Argentina en los últimos 2 a 4 años, y que estén trabajando en otras industrias también deberán ser considerados. En este caso deben tener mente abierta y capacidad comprobada para absorber rápidamente nuevos conocimientos y aplicarlos con éxito, como también alta flexibilidad para la adaptación en nuevas industrias y nuevas culturas.

The Senior District Manager for Uruguay will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the business strategy in the country. In doing so, he/she will interact with Directors or Managers in Uruguay to establish strategies and lead the implementation of business and marketing plans, including brand launchings, extensions, national promotions and new packages.
He/ She will be based in Buenos Aires, traveling 60% of his/ her time to Uruguay.
The key objectives of the new Senior District Manager will be:
Establish strategies,
Support business plan development,
Identify opportunities to maximize profitable volume growth to allocate resources,
Develop marketing and operational expertise within the resources of the operating unit to deliver goals and objectives,
Manage the allocated financial resources (Operating Expenses, Direct Marketing Expenses and Revenue Management) of the country to maximize financial performance,
Interpret and communicate the overall company strategies and goals to ensure alignment at the operating level. The key business indicators that he/ she will be responsible for, are the following: Volume / Revenue / Penetration/ Share

Greetings from the Morin Center for Banking and Financial Law of the Boston University School of Law.
Just a short while ago, the Morin Center reached a significant milestone when it awarded the LL.M. in Banking and Financial Law degree to its twentieth graduating class. Since the banking law program was established in 1984, we have conferred the LL.M. degree on approximately 1200 graduates from the United States and more than fifty foreign countries. We would like to thank our alumni for being a part of this achievement and look forward to more fruitful years ahead. To enable our alumni to gather together and renew their friendship, we are planning the first-ever Boston reunion for LL.M. alumni. The dates are June 16-17, 2006. We hope you will plan to contact your classmates and arrange a wonderful weekend in Boston, with events and programs sponsored by BU specifically for our LL.M. graduates. Save the date: June 16-17, 2006!
With the growth in the number of alumni of the banking law program, it has become harder to keep in touch with everyone and to let them know of events such as the planned reunion. It would be great not only to know the current contact information of all of our alumni but also to know what they have done since graduation. Since this is quite a challenging task, we would like to solicit your help in this undertaking.
How can you help? By filling out the enclosed questionnaire and kindly emailing it to us at banklaw@bu.edu. As always, feel free to reach us by phone at (617) 353-3023 if you have any questions or comments. We would greatly appreciate receiving your completed forms on or before August 31, 2005. We also encourage volunteers who would like to act as class representatives to contact us at the Morin Center. If you are interested, kindly inform us.
Lastly, we are always looking to attract talented lawyers who are interested in a career in banking and financial law. If you know of lawyers who would benefit from an education at the Morin Center let them know of our graduate program or send on their name to us. It would be great to add them to our growing roster of alumni.

Tercer Feria de Universidades del Exterior
Presentada por sus propios ex alumnos argentinos
Por 3er. año consecutivo, Fundación ALFA (Alumni Foundation de Argentina) realizará su Feria de Clubes de Universidades Extranjeras en el país. La feria fue creada para que quienes están evaluando realizar estudios en el exterior tengan la oportunidad de vincularse con los alumni argentinos de las universidades de su interés. El factor diferencial de esta feria es que la voz de cada universidad es un ex estudiante argentino (Alumni), que entiende ambas culturas y que, generalmente, está inserto en el mundo laboral de Argentina luego de hacer su experiencia en el exterior.
A fin de resolver integralmente todas las inquietudes acerca de la experiencia de estudiar en el exterior, el encuentro reúne a embajadas, centros de información de becas y centros de servicios de preparación para ingresos a universidades del exterior. Las universidades representadas dan distinto grado de apoyo al evento a través de sus clubes de alumnos. Los Alumni de los distintos clubes representados donan su tiempo para la organización y participación en este evento con el objetivo último de facilitar la selección de universidades compartiendo su experiencia con las nuevas camadas de estudiantes.
